
When preparing your resume it is always a good idea to think about what your employer is looking for. Putting yourself in their shoes and answering questions you think they may have will make your resume stand out among the rest. A few questions your resume should answer are:
Who are you?
What are your likes, dislikes, dreams, etc. Do not spend too much time on this area but make sure your employer knows a little about you.
What can you do for me?
Your employer wants you to be able to perform a specific job for them. What is it? How well can you do it?
What skills do you have?
Like the previous question your employer will want to know about your traits and skills that make you valuable to their profession.
Where have you worked before?
What other jobs have you had that will contribute to your overall success at this new job?
Does your experience help me?
Experience is good but the right experience is better. Your boss will be looking for work experience that is relevant to the position they are hiring for.
Do you have any education?
Just like experience education is important as well as imperative for certain jobs. Make sure you list all relative education.
Your resume says a lot about you. It is like a blueprint to yourself that each employer will want to review before making the decision to hire you. Make sure you take time on it and make it the best possible.
